CARACOLES FESTIVAL (CARACOLES DE SAMAL) -- is a festivity of the bounties of the sea and the richness of the social and cultural heritage of the island. The celebration is usually done in 28th and 29th of April, for many years the celebration has attracted more than 60,000 spectators all over the world. The festival is also said to be among the three festivals promoted by the Department of Tourism in Southern Philippines.
